Our Services - recovering your lost photos
Plenty of software programmes are available for restoring lost images that have been accidentally or perhaps deliberately deleted from your card but as yet no software available will recover photo's from a card that has suffered from internal chip failure.
The most common form of device failure is now the failure of the internal controller chip.
Our typical recovery process involves the removal of the internal Flash NAND chip, reading the data in it's raw format and then decoding the memory algorithms. Once these algorithms are successfully decoded your pictures will be back.
Indicators that this type of failure:
- "I/O card error" message on your camera
- "Device not recognised" message when the card is inserted in a reader
- "Card requires formatting" message appears when the card is inserted in a reader
- The card appears either full or empty when showing the device properties
